Argos Oil is one of the larger independent oil companies in the Benelux. With its offices and storage and distribution facilities in the Port of Rotterdam, Argos is right at the centre of the oil world. Argos has three company divisions that complement and support one another:

Trading
Large-volume buying and selling of fuels domestically and internationally.

Production & Storage
Argos produces biodiesel in the refinery at its own terminal in the Port of Rotterdam. The facility also has space for storing fuel oil and other products (capacity of over 650,000 m3) – and for blending products to the desired viscosity. The terminal lies in deep water, with its own platform.

Marketing & Sales
We can help both large and small businesses with their conventional fuel, biofuel and lubricant needs. We sell and distribute petrol, middle distillates and lubricants to petrol stations, transport firms, agricultural businesses, contractors, government agencies and industrial companies.

These divisions are part of the company as a whole, but they operate independently. Our service is characterised by short lines of communication, personal contact and flexibility.
Besides the strong growth in the Netherlands, Argos has been realising its international
ambitions and has developed into a formidable market player through mergers and
acquisitions. We combine the power of a large corporation with the flexibility of small-scale
companies. Our activities in the Benelux, France and Germany are thus important beacons
of our international growth strategy.
